Posted in GeneralThe government have just released today a response to the petition with regards to the proposed charges for the Radio Frequency license.
highlight of the response is:
The Government currently has no plans to change these arrangements, nor does the Office of Communications (Ofcom) have plans to impose a charge directly on mountain rescue teams for the use of these channels.
A great result and the only sensible solution to the issue.
